Before this pandemic, what were churches seeing as a desirable harvest? A look at business meeting reports, including financials is revealing. The only harvest that matters is what Heaven will reveal. Who heard and embraced the gospel? How closely did we follow our Lord, obedience and humility?
God always provides for what is necessary in His Kingdom. Are we hearing more about impact on donor giving than where we are taking the gospel in our neighborhoods? We sure have the opportunity to get to know our neighbors better. Mine appreciate a loaf of homemade banana bread, a wave and a ‘how are you doing?’ question.
Keep doing good and don’t look for immediate results. Galatians 6:9, we won’t become weary if we trust the harvest reaping time and results to God.
