What was I thinking
June 10, 2020
I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money.
M Think back to one year ago. What were your financial plans in June 2019? This disruptive time we’ve been through is an opportunity to think, ponder. What impact has this made on our life?
V Many might have been financially on cruise control. Paying a bit on credit cards, still rolling forward even adding debt. No 3—6 month cushion as ALL financial planners recommend as does the Bible. 1 Timothy 5:8 Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
Todays reality should motivation us to change. Shrinking that spending plan may be a requirement. Rethinking our plans and what we value is a wise mental and financial exercise.
