What protections do women have from inappropriate sexual advances? In the workplace, our neighborhood, our church? I know.
Our greatest protection is the sure knowledge of how precious and priceless we are to our Lord. That inappropriate advance will come regardless of wedding ring, or work place guidelines, or sense of a common faith.
Our human reaction might be to like the flattery, “I’m desirable.’ We might be drawn in by the, “I need you to be my better me.” I’m not only wanted, I’m needed. Think immediately, I am the daughter of the living God. Jesus himself has sacrificed all of himself so I can be his precious sister.
Talk to a trusted sister in Christ. With full transparency ask to be help accountable. Remember whose you are.
