How many times have you visited Facebook this year? I’ll admit I like seeing pictures of friends and relatives, hearing of adventures and sharing my own. Then you can click the ‘like’ button. Nothing is wrong with this. But isn’t it tempting to like being liked? I fear we may be drawn in to a ‘what’s popular’ space. How can I get more likes? Let’s contrast this with getting our face in God’s book. His love and acceptance of us is more precious and valuable than any number of likes from people. His directions worthy of our obedience. In fact, a worthy goal for 2020 is to spend more time with our face in His book. Our goal? To hear that by his standards, we have done well.
