I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money

 

M In this giving season, we want to know that we are giving to a worthy cause that uses donations for God honoring, Kingdom building purposes.

 

V One way to vet an organization is to volunteer, step inside their activities.  What purposes do you care about?  Tutor children, provide legal service to those who are voiceless, volunteer in a homeless shelter.  Serve in your church teaching and promoting Kingdom purposes.  Volunteering we not

 

only see the activities and how effective they are, we meet the people.  Are they humble or arrogant, self serving?  Charity rating sites  vet them as well.

 

M Giving starts with an open heart.  From that our generosity flows.
