I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money

 

M December is a time of giving. Its a time we plan our charitable giving as 2019 comes to a close.  Lets look at Scripture for examples.

 

Mary the sister of Martha and Lazarus anointed the Lord with perfume and dried his feet with her hair.  John 11: 2.  She repeated this again shortly before his death.  John 12: 3.  Each jar was worth a years wages, possibly her life savings.

 

 

V What she gave revealed her heart. More important than her dowry, which that perfume might have been saved for, was her love for Jesus.  We see different ways to give to the Kingdom.  Its a good time to consider and make that gift.
