Black Friday

I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money

M  Black Friday was named for the heavy and disruptive pedestrian and vehicle traffic in Philadelphia the day after Thanksgiving.  Heavy shopping, calling in sick for a four day weekend, the day was disruptive.

V  That is still true today.  Crazy shopping, hours in stores and on line, and crazier disruptions to our spending plans.  We have a Christmas list, but the deals are too good to pass up.  Items not on the list. go in our cart or at our door.  The next credit card bill is DISRUPTIVE.

Then we decide who to inflict with that strange bargain purchase we could not resist.

M  I’m choosing to rest and remember.  Join me and lets call it Happy Friday.
