Loving God in prosperity and poverty

I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money

M ALL of God’s gifts to us are good.  Do you find that hard to embrace when your resources are limited, in fact you are living in poverty?  Proverbs 15: 16  Better is a little with the fear of the Lord, than great treasure and turmoil with it.

V One lesson of having little is the necessity of shrinking not just our wants but our needs.  The Apostle Paul was content even when he was hungry: Philippians 4: 11.  Given that he was in prison, he was often hungry. Another lesson is appreciating each dollar, paid bill as a blessing, not a right.

M  When resources grow again, we have learned to be frugal, wise, and thankful.
