Greed # 2
November 19, 2019
I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money
M There are two sides of the money coin. One is being a wise steward, multiplying God’s investment He has loaned to you. Commendable! The other side is greed: wanting more for self centered, selfish reasons. Ephesians 5: 5 names idolatry.
V Starting over financially after a rough patch can be a tempting time to cling to money, revere it, even value it more than honoring and obeying God. We repeat, its ALL God’s on loan to us. If you have only a bit, steward it, pray for God to direct you wisely.
M Leans times can grow contentment with simple, less, and even nothing.
