Facing the Facts
October 2, 2019
I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money.
M Facing facts is not for the faint of heart. Knowing the real numbers of your spending plan, that more is going out than coming in—difficult. But necessary. Our human hearts really like to see what we want to see.
V One study found that drivers who had been in and caused severe car crashes rated themselves as better-than-average drivers. Similarly in one study one in four investors thought their portfolios had beaten the markets and they had not. 4% had no idea. Its called overconfidence. Its called seeing what you wish is true.
M Fact: Its all God’s to steward wisely. Face it, see the real facts, and make choices to honor God.
