Budget buster fear

I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money

M Fear can be a budget buster.  One of Scriptures principles for wise money management is to grow what God entrusts to you  Matthew 25 gives us examples of God’s rewards for multiplying what He entrust to us on loan.

V  That parable also shows what happens to us when we let fear determine our financial choices.  In verse 25 the bad steward said, “So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.”  The boss called him lazy.  The truth in that statement is that wise investing for growth is work.  Most of us are not farmers working the soil, but we are learners studying equities, or real estate, or ways to profit in business.

M The boss even said as least he could have deposited it with bankers for interest.  Implied was a truth still today.  Bank deposits aren’t much, but at least its something.
