Bold desires

One month into this new year, I’m reflecting on my wish list for 2019. One of my goals was to be more bold. Bold in pursuing being like Jesus. Bold in pursuing the opportunities he’s given me to serve him. Bold in my desire to be a peace maker in my family rather than irritating. I’m discovering that God has taken me seriously.
Result: He is not asking easy things of me. Opportunities are more diverse than in any year. Discerning good partnerships requires patience and time. And I want to leap quickly on my ‘to do’ list.
Requirement: BE before I DO. Be discerning, be kind, listen carefully, seek council. Try to see that family member’s perspective.
Challenging, yes, but I’m in pursuit of being bold.
