I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money

 

M  Financial pitfalls impact all age groups.  Generation X, or middle agers, are the most connected, educated, and sophisticated generation ever.  In the past they have been accumulators, housing and its contents, transportation, experiences.

 

V  Its easy for my generation to feel smashed and responsible for children, for parents, even extended family.  To over house and to rescue others. We can give out too much, or hoard for selfish reasons.

 

The temptation of the man who accumulated more than he needed, Luke 12: 18 is still true.  Keeping a balance of what we need for living, what we can share without crippling work ethic, and giving to Kingdom work is a good thing.

 

M  Evaluate objectively frequently, and prayerfully.
