Loss means less
December 26, 2018
In our culture of accumulation, after Christmas which usually means more things, its good to remember that more is not necessarily better. Less is often a good thing.
As we put away gifts and write Thank You’s, its a good time to load up things we have not used to take to our favorite donation site. If we are not using it, consider someone else might and be delighted to have it. Clothing, kitchen ware. God’s gifts to us are for our benefit, not for hoarding or storing.
Smaller wardrobe, less time to chose what to wear. Less furniture, less to care for and clean. Sparce kitchen, simpler preparations and less to clean up. If we are not using it, let it bless someone else. Thank God for our abundance, an opportunity to share with others.
