Calling Matters

What motivates you to keep going during hard and demanding times? Consider the word ‘calling.’ God states that He ‘calls’ people for His purposes. Pauls letters often start by reminding his readers of their calling, His calling. I Corinthians 1: 1, 2.
I experienced that after becoming a widow. It was the first time in my life I knew my distinct calling. Location: the Splendid Hotel in Ouagadougou Burkina Faso. Date November 20, 2006. Calling: serve widows following the 103 verses in Scripture. Inform, encourage, serve, bring Christ, my heart was broken hearted at how widows are treated, disadvantages at home, suffering in most countries. He showed me one task at a time, empowered me to do that one thing.
When things get hard, I remember. He who calls you will do it.
