M  My heart breaks when widows contact me about  discoveries  after their husband’s death.  Unknown debt, no organized records. location of accounts, bank and investment, no access to needed resources quickly.

 

V  Its loving to keep track of your personal financial information.  Both should know it all about the financials!    Have a place to which both have access that  contains the key, and location of that safety deposit box.

Tax documents, life insurance policies, mortgage contracts and debt information.

 

Share and store passwords to bank and investment records carefully.

M We know of countless scams where savings accounts were emptied.  ‘New friends, even kind caregivers should never have access.  Only a trusted one who has power of attorney should know your passwords.
