Taking stock of your stuff

I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money
M 48% of Americans say their homes are cluttered with things they no longer use
Nearly half of Americans think they have more than $1,000 in unused items in their their homes
Almost 10 % of American households rent a storage unit, which costs almost $1,000 annually.
V Count the cost. Is that what you value? It’s just stuff. Donate it. Someone else won’t have to purchase new. Empty that unit and give to a worthy cause. Declutter the space so you don’t have to dust, oil, or repair that unused item.
$1,000 buys 4 new treadle sewing machines for widows we train in Africa. To them, its not stuff. Its a new lease on financial independence.
