M Financially troubling times need not frustrate us.  Yes, we have little control over markets, interest rates, other factors that affect our savings.  Scripture gives us timeless advice.

 

V Proverb 27: 23 and 24 speaks of diversifying.  Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds; for riches do not endure forever, and a crown is not secure for all generations.

 

At that time, survival depended on your herds.  Gold and silver existed, as did valuable purple dyed garments.  Those  could disappear.  You are dependent again on those flocks.
