Discontentment in ministry

One taboo topic is being discontent with one’s ministry, what God has given us to do in His Kingdom. Being human, just as we compare living spaces, clout, we sink to wishing for gifts we do not have, outreach we do not have, accolades. I remember wishing I had a beautiful singing voice so I could sing duets with my musical husband. Never happened!
Its tempting today, having started Widow Connection, Inc. we are small, grass roots. After hearing my pastor speak on the sin of discontent and how to rid ourselves of it, I came to the conclusion that I am not only grateful, but thrilled to be President of Small.
To be anything else would be denying God’s sovereignty giving me any assignment that matters to Him.
