Lessons from a hurricane

My Puerto Rican friend, Janet Luttrell knows much about hurricanes.  Her radio broadcasting antennas were destroyed in recent hurricanes and electricity is still sporadic.  Her words.  “After the storm is more important than during the storm.  You can’t do anything about the storm during it.

After?  Its hard. Rebuilding, stamina to keep going.  The real work begins.  Spiritual application and wisdom.    Crisis will come. That is life.  Be prepared. Are you embracing God, learning, praying?  He will hold you steady through it.  Then comes the courageous time afterwards.  Changing, letting go of what you no longer have, accepting the challenge of adjusting.  We need not self destruct after destruction.  God is still God. With Him we weather the storm and grow stronger afterward.
