Philip and the Eunuch

God’s purposes are often unseen, and when visible, beyond our imagination.  Imagine being the Ethiopian Eunuch described in Acts 8.  He was a court official for the Queen of the Ethiopians, in charge of the entire treasury.  A important and trusted man.  He was traveling the road from Jerusalem though Gaza where he had worshipped.  Unique for a member of the Ethiopian Queen’s court.  He was reading Isaiah.

A man on a mission to find God.  And God provided Philip. No coincidence that Philip joined him and explained what he was reading.  He was reading about Jesus.  In that chariot, on that dusty road, a teacher appeared in response to the Eunuch’s heart to know God.  God sees your hunger and will satisfy it amazing ways.
