I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money
M The estate tax, whether kept or repealed, does not directly impact many. Annually this tax is levied on about 5,500 estates. The tax is 40% on $5.5 million per person or almost 11 million per married couple.
V Lets consider other options. Larry Burkett said “do your givin while you’re livin so you’re knowing where it is going.” Giving appreciated assets while you’re living is a great way to encourage kingdom work and make possible what you value. . It is one great way to make impact gifts while you are both alive.
M Remember that charitable organizations are much more efficient in spending for actual results than our government.
