4 C’s of leadership
August 16, 2017
Not everyone can assume the role of leadership and succeed. Its determined by the 4 C’s. Command, Control, Communication, and Compassion.
Command means unmistakable instructions delivered.
Control means being able to control the ‘herd’ preventing panic or disaster. Unity, not division of purpose.
Communication is both style and content. Communicate what is necessary without distractions.
Compassion means awareness of the feelings of those being lead, able to deal with their fears and concerns.
Leadership is best bestowed, not assumed. Jesus is the supreme example with his apostles. He taught them clearly his mission. Kept them on mission through tumultuous times. Communicated with actions and words, and loved them.
