Words of wisdom

This chaotic world has me searching for wisdom from folks I can trust. Dorothy Chase, who lived three decades more than I, a wisdom filled mentor, was one of those women. She wrote about serenity In chaos.
For tears that come, there springs hope.
For tumbling rocks, a solid foundation.
For doubts that swirl, a quiet mind.
For sorrow that invades,
God’s love embraces.
Serenity in chaos? God is ready.
Jesus reminded his followers that chaos in our lives does not dictate chaos in our hearts and minds. He spoke to folks who lived in politically volatile days, had prodigal children, illness, disabilities, and uncertain futures. His words:
John 14:1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.” Good words for today.
