Abigail’s story is unusual. A proficient, efficient leader in a wealthy household, respected by servants, in fact they looked to her not Nabal for instruction. Their respect for her and willingness to step up to her requests no matter how great and pressing, resulted in saved lives for their compound. Read her story in I Samuel 25: 26-33.
