Wisdom From Abigail

Abigail’s story is unusual.  A proficient, efficient leader in a wealthy household, respected by servants, in fact they looked to her not Nabal for instruction.  Their respect for her and willingness to step up to her requests no matter how great and pressing, resulted in saved lives for their compound.  Read her story in I Samuel 25: 26-33.  She acted on information based on her knowledge that her king, David, would have blood on his hands due to his impulsiveness, and her husband would risk conflict and lives to be stingy.  Lesson from Abigail; True wisdom is being wise in time, not afterward.

Her permission was from God, not dithering as to what to do, what to.
