Tired Today

Tired today? Some of us try to keep our fatigue a secret. We attack the day with gusto when our body may be dragging. Can you relate? I tell God I’m tired even when no one else knows. He gently comforted me this morning with Psalm 103:14, ‘For he knows how we were made; he remembers that we are but dust.’ We’re not made from never-die batteries, or bionics. We’re what I call humanoids. When this body wears out, we don’t get a replacement. We can replace many parts, but not all.

My Creator gently reminds me that we humans need a day of rest. One in every seven. That my body is the residence of the Holy Spirit; a good reason to take care of it.

Good reminder, my friend.
