Tears in a bottle # 2

God collects our tears in a bottle.  Psalm 56:8 assures us of that.  Songs are written about crying alone, crying lonely tears.  Not to God.  He’s there collecting them.  I’m comforted by that reality.  All tears matter to him, not just because he cares, but because our tears show him our priorities.

Tears can be for the trivial, or selfish longings denied, anger and rage, or being ignored when hungering for the spotlight.

I have a wish for my bottle of tears.  I want to weep for joy noticing God’s goodness every day.

I want them to be tears of thanksgiving that he sees me, believes in me, invests in me and loves me.

So my friend,  what’s in your bottle of tears today? It’s your choice.
