Stewardship of influence

Scripture is full of advice on stewardship. All we have is God’s, His gift to us. All we are is His creation to mold and use as He sees best. We think of stewardship as using our things and money wisely, our time and our talents as He would direct and honor.
We have something more. Influence. We all have it. Let’s think about how we are stewarding our influence. It’s not just budgeting whether the CEO of a large company, or no income, a large church, congressional position, local committee, or family, we have influence. It has been said that our actions shout so loudly no one can hear what we are saying. The most soft-spoken person in the room may be heard above all. Let’s be wise stewards of our influence.
