Sex Trafficking

Sex trafficking is finally being addressed.  Efforts to inform are a small beginning.  The hard work to prevent this destructive practice is beginning, the journey ahead hard, costly, and necessary.

While solutions are not simple, may I offer James 1:27; “Look after the orphans and widows in their distress.”  The majority of victims are either orphans or widows.  When we care for them, their predators face a formidable foe.

That child, usually a young girl without an advocate with HER best interests at heart, has someone who will care for her like a Mom or Dad.  Provide nourishment, protection, and education.

That young widow, who may just want to feed her babies, has a protector who will help her on the path to self-sufficiency with a skill.

Guaranteed success?  No, but a real beginning.
