Resilience # 6

Life comes at us hard and with unexpected twists and turns. It is necessary for us as Christ followers to be resilient. We need to be able to recover quickly, withstand, and ultimately stand when we feel like crumbling. We need to accept the reality, be committed to the purpose God has called in our life and His right to change our direction. Our heart embraces this new calling because we’re living on purpose. His purpose, not ours.
That gives me strength passion to pursue my new calling as a widow.
Flexibility is required, not just desired. Many folks like predictability, things as they were. Change is hard. I know of no person who has not had stuff happening, not of their choosing.
We can whine, get depressed, get stuck on going nowhere. That’s not God’s plan.
