Recharging

At day’s end, I find myself connecting my iphone to its power source to power up for tomorrow.  Its habit, I don’t neglect it.  I can’t.  Tomorrow, my life depends on it.  Not really but it seems so.   At first I  resisted getting a ‘portable’ phone. Who needs it.

And now that little device is teaching me a lesson.  Jesus calling. Plug in, Miriam, or you’ll have no power for tomorrow. He gently whispers, “I’m your source. Its your choice.  My power or on your own. ”

I’m finding my strength, not enough, and my wisdom lacking for my challenges today.  And this was supposed to be my easy stage!  1 Peter 5:7  Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.          Jesus words ‘My power is enough.’
