Proverbs Puzzles

God says ALL Scripture is useful, II Timothy 3:16, but I puzzle over Proverbs 30. Set in the wisdom book, it speaks of a snake on a rock, how an eagle flies, ants, badgers, and ships on high seas. I may ask for insights in heaven, but it probably won’t matter. I won’t see those creatures there anyway.
What I do know is that God creates beyond our imagination. The behavior of ants serves them well, and is an example of teamwork and productivity. Eagles soar looking for food for their young with eyesight making that possible.
Looking at all of these examples a bit more closely, God shows us that He creates creatures with the ability to do what He intends them to do. That’s true for us as well. Good to remember.
