Prayer Without Reproach
February 20, 2024
Our lives are full of many ‘asks,’ at least mine is. Our prayers are impacted by the response we get from others when we ask for something.
We hesitantly ask a question thinking the person will think but not say, ‘You don’t know?
We ask a favor wondering if the person is thinking, ‘You’re here again!’
Jesus is not like we humanoids. He responds without blaming.
I’m reminded in James 1: 5 that God gives wisdom generously without reproach. God does not blame. In fact, He welcomes our ask. It shows we trust Him and believe He has the answer we need. Hebrews 4: 16. That’s why we can pray boldly, with confidence not hesitantly, not groveling. We are His loved child.
Jesus welcomes our bold requests and has a wise answer.
