Practicing What I Preach

Good intentions start with what we think is wise, what we wish to do. And then life happens, dailies settle in. Enter God’s instruction. Psalm 111: 10 ‘The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever.’
Reverence and respect are the foundation. But the practice part, living it, building on it, are hard. Talk is easier than walk. Performance of musicians is the result of hours in the practice room. Competition is based on hours in the work out room. What about my faith walk? Is my face in the Bible, and my feet walking as directed? That’s where the victory starts. The Lord’s truths are our path. Daily progress, practice and walk.
