Popular Leaders 1

Popular leaders often have a list of their credentials, accomplishments, church numbers, organizations started, and more.  We read their resume and admire, evaluate, and some try to emulate. We read others testifying as to the great impact of that leader.  Problem: leaders can believe it’s their success, not God’s blessing and giftedness to them.  Others, including followers compare and evaluate.  Neither bring glory to the Kingdom.

Jesus does not need your resume.  He does not need others testifying as to who you are or what you have done.  He sees your heart.  John 2:  24, 25.  He sees in each heart the WHY?  To serve God, to humble ourselves, to plead for His wisdom, to elevate only Him.  May each of us be known for that.
