Perspective

Are you anxious about circumstances or people in your life today?  It’s human to pour over things we would like to be different.  Difficulties for a child or grandchild, job uncertainties, conflict with friends, family, even fellow believers.

When I’m anxious I like to read Psalm 33: 13-15.  In fact, I feed on it, ponder, and consider God’s perspective.  ‘From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind; from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth— he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do.’

I imagine God looking down on us with grace, mercy and love.  We are but specks of humanity on his vast footstool.  He sees, He watches, formed our hearts before conception, and considers us.  Perspective my friend, not anxiety.
