Persecution 3

While it is noble to call for freedom to express one’s faith and follow it without persecution, Scripture plainly tells us that government orders or political statements or policies cannot protect us. Evil will always abound on this earth until Christ returns. Other forms of violence are beatings, abductions, rapes, arrests, and forced marriage. Persecution can be by hand or tongue. Christians may be jailed for their faith or on false accusations.
We need to securely wear the armor of the belt of truth. That may condemn us here as we claim our allegiance to Jesus as his followers, and yet free us for eternity claiming God’s promise of Heaven. Earth has no sorrow, no pain, no injustice or persecution of any kind, that Heaven cannot heal.
