Overwhelmed # 3

Feeling overwhelmed these days is normal. Much of our world and life is not what we predicted. Inflation, safety issues in many communities, a predictable future. Blowing in the wind. Not true today.
Solution: remembering, “there’s nothing new under the sun,” Ecclesiastes 1:9, doesn’t help. Remember that nothing is a surprise to God. Not only does He know our today and our tomorrow, He knows our resources: financial, energy, bandwidth. He knows us! And He has the right answers, the right guidance for ALL that we need for today.
My friend, it’s time for us to lean into our faith. Ask God to simply direct our next step. We used to sing an old song: Trust and Obey, for there’s no other way. True throughout the ages.
