Not Alone

Few of us cruise through life without more than a few experiences that bring grief beyond what we think we cannot bear.  Grief is love with no place to go.  It collects in our eyes and leaks at unpredictable times, its a lump in our throat, and empty space in our chest.  We feel alone, even immobilized.

Not so, Jesus has experienced it all.  Love for each human yet rejected my many.  Weeping at a friend’s tomb and the devastation and rending of death.  His hometown community rejected him.  He went into the wilderness alone.  He knows, He has experienced it all.

Which means He can comfort you and I as no one else can.  Then you become that II Corinthians 1: 3 and 4 person who brings comfort to another.
