Unknowns are usually uncomfortable. How will the new tax laws impact my family? What will be the outcome of this legal matter? Relationship tremors. We are ill at ease, sometimes almost immobilized.
I love the definite words in Scripture. Jesus says, “I am, I will.” Heaven is secure for Christ followers. Our days, our minutes are in His hands, not dictated by those around us. We know God’s intention for us is for our good. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
My friend, don’t focus on what’s behind you or worry about what’s before you. Look up. God’s promises are known.
