Justice #2

Conflict reigns in much of our nation. Crime, disobedience, the innocent punished, and convictions based on who has money. There are 15 million civil lawsuits on the books. And we are a nation based on Judeo-Christian principles. Many countries struggle under more conflict than we do.
Our justice system, courts, lawyers, aids, prison wardens, police persons, everyone, all are human. Subject to greed, power hunger, anger, and prejudice. For some positions we can vote, for all we can pray.
Scripture warns against false reports, partiality. I Kings 3:9 King Solomon was commended for asking for discernment in administering justice.
So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. Let us pray that prayer for every person touching our justice system.
God shaped justice. Our nation desperately needs it.
