Hope Has Hands

Hard times come to everyone.  In the community of believers, we help each other through these times.  I have been that exhausted spouse, caring for the one person I loved more than any other human in his illness, believing I did not have the energy or will to face the next day with the physical work, emotional exhaustion.  No hope.

And then friends dropped off a meal for the next day—a huge one, two meals for us.  Hope has hands.

Never underestimate the precious value of an act of kindness.  Proverbs 3: 28. 29.  If they ask and you can, give.  I was too tired to ask.  And yet they gave.  My friend, can you be hands to restore another’s hope, lift their arms, energize their step?  Be the Lord’s hands of hope.
