Happened to be there # 2

Those fly over phrases in Scripture are more important than we imagine. Like “happened to be there.”
Why do we see that person who has appeared inconveniently in our life as a problem, an interruption. No doubt, King David thought that when Sheba appeared to criticize him. II sam 20: 1. Just happened to show up at a river bank. It was already a difficult time in David’s life. God allowed, God worked.
Lesson for today: there will always be those who bring conflict. It is God’s opportunity to show who is for Him, God himself, not a sparkly leader. It’s a good time to consider that God may be about something different than our personal goals, our earthly goals. Pray, God you are in this. I can be in this moment with YOU.
