God’s Options

It’s tempting when we face hardships, trials small and great, to ask God for help. And then try to help Him by offering suggestions. Ways we think it would be good for God to intervene. What He should change in our mate, our child, small or adult, our coworker, Our Christian friend with whom we are at odds.
Wait, we are praying to God. All knowing, all powerful, creative, loving, just, and merciful. Isaiah 55:9 As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
He has options we cannot even imagine. He brings people we don’t even know to fulfill his purposes. He controls circumstances beyond our small world to fulfill his purposes. Aha. To fulfill His purposes. Even our well-meaning intentions are minuscule compared to His grand plan.
