God Nudges

God can chose to nudge us anywhere and anytime. I felt one of those recently on a rugby sideline. This sport is indescribable. I only go to watch and support my grandsons and pray for their safety. Rugged, hard contact, no padding. It’s a place of no grace, mercy, or kindness.
Except. . . I watched a speedster who could have scored a tri, pitch to a teammate who seldom scored, so that he could carry the ball over the line. A rare scoring guaranteed, by teammate. That’s grace and kindness.
Kinda like God choosing to use me to bless another widow. I’m not the gifted ‘speedster.’ But His grace and mercy makes up for that.
Conviction: my goal is to be more kind, more grace filled and more merciful.
