Enemy Tactics

Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have taught us that war tactics have changed. The direct confrontations of WWI and II have been replaced with IED’s, improvised explosive devices. They are hidden behind rocks, in women’s clothing, in shopping centers, anywhere the enemy wants to do damage. Another tactic is creatively infiltrating our security forces.
Our military is adjusting. More resistant vehicles. Vigilance in new ways.
Scripture compares our spiritual life journey as a battle. 1 Peter 5:8. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
His tactics can be defeated by wearing our spiritual armor, faith, assurance of our salvation, peace, truth, and righteousness, holy spirit. Battle ready for any challenge. Victorious!
