Different Sisters

I recently returned from a country where I was different from everyone.  Height, skin tone, accent, and preferences.  Yet I read Ephesians.

I share much with these sisters.

We were all adopted by our Heavenly Father; therefore, we are brothers and sisters in the same household.  We will share in the same inheritance, an eternal home in the same location.  Here our homes are oceans apart, different in every way:  heat, odors of food cooking, size and amenities.  There we’ll share the same home.

Our reality here is Ephesians 2: 22. ‘And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.’ All our differences are insignificant.  We prayed in unity.  We sang in harmony.  A bit of Heaven here on earth.
