Christmas with covid

Each Christmas season is different. Traditions morph, people change, as does our swirling world. 2020 has been such a year. Consider how Covid has impacted this Christmas season. I connected through Zoom with widows whose husbands died of Covid this year. I cannot imagine not being able to gather to celebrate the life of that person you loved.
During this pandemic families have lost children and others due to illness, accidents and suicides. If you know such a family, pray for them this season. They have many regrets and scars. It’s a good season to write that handwritten note and simply say, “I have been thinking about you. I can’t say, “I understand,’ because I don’t. However, I prayed for God to comfort you as only He knows the best way.
