What needs do you have this month? Are you hoping for some fun events, inspiring moments? affirmations from those around you, either gifts or words? There is nothing wrong with wanting connection in community that feeds our soul and lifts us. However, those needs may or may not be met this season. How do you see the people that you love and love you? To the extent we are expecting them to meet our needs, we will be demanding and dependent.
What do I do to get them to do? Fill in the blank. Demands of others at Christmas time are common and counterproductive.
Depend on Jesus to affirm you, inspire you with His example, comfort you with his words and give you the gifts of contentment and joy. You will not be disappointed.
