I’ve been reading Revelation and pondering what is ahead. It’s not lighthearted reading. One thing is clear. God is serious about rejecting Him. I read the news of the changes in China. Their government is clamping down on Christ followers, any who do not revere their communist doctrine. 68 million Protestants, 3.3 million Catholics and many others must submit to the Communist party, depict the president’s quotes, and remove the 10 Commandments. Millions are in detention camps for ‘re-education.’
We pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ to stay strong regardless of the persecution. Revelation speaks of God’s faithfulness even through martyrdom.
We need to pray for our own country. There are shades of religious repression here. Revelations final word. God wins, his people win. Heaven will be perfect.
